L’Esparrelló Beach, a beautiful environment “au natural” in Villajoyosa
Villajoyosa is an attractive Mediterranean town on the Costa Blanca that has a large number of coves and beaches which makes it a perfect place to discover along the Alicante coast.
There, on top of a cliff, is the emblematic Hotel Montíboli, which at its feet has two beaches worth mentioning. To the south, you will find Playa de la Caleta and just below the hotel, descending the white steps with direct access to the Mediterranean, is Playa de L’Esparrelló.
Today we tell you everything you need to know about L’Esparrelló Beach!

What is L’Esparrelló Beach like?
The unknown L’Esparrelló Beach is about 222 metres long, depending on the tides. Found between small cliffs, it has numerous nooks and crannies that maintain the privacy of this beach, making it suitable for naturism.
This beach on the Costa Blanca is made of sand and small round pebbles, clean and crystal-clear waters, surrounded by wild nature. All this makes it an ideal paradise to enjoy as a couple.

Where is L’Esparrelló Beach in Villajoyosa?
It is a hidden beach and is difficult to reach for people who are not staying at the Hotel Montíboli, thanks to this characteristic, it could almost be said that it is a beach of which the hotel guests feel is their own. A real refuge! Being such a hidden place, it seems strange to think that it is only located a little less than 2 kilometres south of the town centre of la Vila, as the municipality of Villajoyosa is popularly known. Access to the cove is pedestrian only.

What makes the L’Esparrelló beach special?
This beach, which is considered a cove, is a true haven of peace and tranquillity. As it has an inconspicuous access, it is not a very busy beach, and it is also suitable for practicing nudism. Thanks to the wonderful coverage of the pearly cliffs above the beach, it enjoys an exclusive, intimate and welcoming character which has made it become one of the most valued nudist beaches by bathers in the province of Alicante.
It has the Qualitur flag, awarded by Turisme Comunitat Valenciana (The Valencian Tourist board). In addition, its waters are regularly monitored, so this beach is perfect for diving and fishing, but it is not suitable for dogs or caravans.

Now you know everything you need to know to enjoy this charming beach and you have one more reason to stay at the Hotel Montíboli and enjoy this wonderful corner of the province of Alicante. We look forward to seeing you!
