Guadalest Castle
One of the ideal places for a getaway is Guadalest, one of the most beautiful villages in Spain. It has managed to maintain over time the most typical features of the inland villages of Alicante, which is why it was declared a historic-artistic site in 1974.
The Castell de Guadalest is an 11th century fortress, created by the Muslims in medieval times. It is located on a rocky outcrop at an altitude of 596m, in the highest part of the municipality. This town is one of the must-see places in the area, as well as walking through its curious white streets and visiting its many museums, it is also very pleasant to take a walk surrounded by nature along the Guadalest reservoir.
