What is Caleta Beach like?
La Caleta Beach is a cove with a mixture of small pebbles and sand. La Caleta de Villajoyosa is long and 30 meters wide, far from the town center, it becomes a perfect cove for relaxing.
Awarded the Blue Flag (international recognition that certifies the quality of the waters), at the wonderful Caleta you will find the sea water is an intense turquoise blue colour and the highest quality and transparency. The beach is surrounded by large rocks and even small islets visible in some areas of the water. Thanks to its crystal-clear waters, you will find a place with excellent conditions for diving and snorkelling, where you will be able to enjoy seeing the local marine life. In addition, La Caleta has a lifeguard service and the option to rent sunbeds and umbrellas.
Although it is a hidden cove that does not have signs to get to it, it is easy to access and has a public parking area.
Where is Caleta de Villajoyosa located?
The La Caleta Beach is located south of Villajoyosa, specifically at the foot of the Montiboli Hotel with direct access from the hotel itself. The cliff rock wall, on which the Montiboli is located, separates it from the Esparrelló naturist cove, which is also worth a visit.
