MONTIBOLI HOTEL

Under the “Cultural Montiboli” program, the hotel started in 2008 a series of activities in commemoration of the hotel’s 40th anniversary, showing the hotel’s interest towards the artistic, cultural and gastronomic world.

Montíboli Exhibitions

The lounges and gardens of the hotel usually display works of art from artists' galleries as well as contemporary renowned artists. Paintings, sculptures, books and photography are always present at the hotel for the guests' to contemplate..

• Miguel Hernández University. Faculty of Fine Arts.

  The Hotel Servigroup Montíboli signed a collaboration agreement with Miguel Hernández University to host exhibitions and cultural events at the hotel.

• Association of Alicante Artists

  The association of Alicante artists is a non-profit association consisting of more than two hundred and seventy members. Today it is a known leading cultural reference valued within the Valencian community as well as on a national and international level. The hotel Montiboli recently began a joint collaboration in order to hold exhibitions within its facilities.

• Exhibition “Four Alicante Watercolourists”. From the association of Alicante artists.

  Description: Watercolours of landscapes and corners of the province. Artists:Juan Antonio Poblador, Luis Sala, Ángel Sánchez y Rosendo Franch.

• Exhibition “Mirades“ , from the Miguel Hernández University

  Description: A sample of the union of paint within the digital field which results in the convergence of languages that capture its sensibility
  Date: 4th November -30th November

• Exhibition “Internal Portrait” by Aurora López

  Description: Colouristic painting, her paintings reflect the light of the Mediterranean

Montíboli Contests

• Literary competitions

  HotFourth story competition of Hotel Montiboli

  “Cocktail of memories” by Sara Barberá of Madrid has been chosen as the winner of the fourth edition of the short story competition “Do not disturb” held by the Hotel Servigroup Montiboli. The consolation prize goes to Juan Carlos Somoza of Bilbao for his story titled “A wine waitress and a broker”.

  On this occasion, the bases of the competition required that in a few lines, the authors linked a love story to the description a “cocktail of emotions”.

  The hotel has received a total of 159 stories, mainly from Spain but also from other countries such as Cuba, Mexico, Paraguay, Uruguay, Argentina and Chile.

  The competition prize consists of a stay at the Hotel Montiboli with dinner for two in the Emperador Restaurant. In a few months time the fifth edition of the competition will begin.
