The Hotel Montíboli is one of the most exclusive hotels in the whole of Spain. It belongs to the prestigious Relais & Châteaux and Luxury Alliance guides, and has received various tourism awards: the prize for its “architectural and environmental character” from the Costa Blanca Tourism Board, the “particularly pleasant hotel” and the “distinguished restaurant awards from the Michelin Guide and the “Golden Plate” presented to the Chef of the El Emperador Restaurant, amongst others.

From the year 2000 it holds the ISO 9001-2000 certification awarded by AENOR, that monitors management of quality and service for accommodation, restaurants and events and its international equivalent 'IQNet Quality System'.

Another quality distinction it holds is Qualitur, awarded by the Tourism Board of the Region of Valencia.
